Why are your prices so much lower than what I'd expect?
Traditional fees for personalized Buddhist ceremonies can vary widely depending on the temple, duration, materials, and scope of practice.
The Way To Dharani is able to keep its offerings more accessible because our practitioners maintain secular professions and our organization operates with relatively low overhead. Our goal is to make authentic lineage-based practice more accessible without compromising the sincerity of the ritual or the qualifications of the practitioners.
We also dedicate at least 20% of the revenue remaining after necessary operating costs to educational initiatives for disadvantaged children and stray animal rescue programs—because compassion, to us, is not just part of ritual practice. It is a way of life.
Who is performing the ritual?
Every ceremony at The Way To Dharani is conducted by qualified practitioners within the relevant tradition, including formally certified Shingon Ācāryas and experienced practitioners.
Our practitioners have completed formal training and received authorization within their respective lineages. We perform only those rituals and teachings that fall within the scope of our training and transmission.

What lineage or tradition is this based on?
Depending on the service you choose, our rituals are rooted either in authentic Shingon ritual tradition or in Tang Dynasty esoteric and Kriyā-tantra liturgy. The specific scriptural source for each ritual is clearly stated in its product description.
We will never use vague language to obscure what we are actually doing. You will always know exactly which tradition, which text, and which practice is being performed on your behalf.
How do I know the ritual is actually being performed?
Depending on the type of ritual, once it is completed, we will send you a photograph of the ritual altar or mandala as confirmation that the ceremony has been properly performed.
For longer or multi-day rituals, additional progress photographs may also be provided where applicable.
Service Operations
How does a remote ritual work?
In Shingon Esoteric Buddhism, ritual practice brings together body, speech, and mind through mudrā, mantra, visualization, prayer, and offerings.
When a ritual is performed for a specific person, information such as their name and date of birth is used to clearly dedicate the prayers, blessings, and merit of the practice to that individual.
Physical distance does not prevent this dedication within the traditional ritual framework, so the ceremony may be performed on your behalf while you continue your daily life as usual. No online or in-person attendance is required unless otherwise stated.
What information do you need from me?
For blessing rituals: your name and date of birth. A photograph may also be requested or submitted optionally, depending on the ritual.
For physical products: your shipping information, together with any personal details required for the blessing or customization of the item.
For astrology reports: the birth information requested on the relevant product page.
That's it. We keep the process simple so the focus remains on the practice itself.
Can I request a ritual for someone else?
Yes. A blessing may be dedicated to a family member, partner, or friend. However, spiritual practice should also respect personal beliefs, privacy, and boundaries. Whenever possible, we recommend explaining the blessing to the person and receiving their consent beforehand.
We believe sincerity and respect are an important part of ethical spiritual practice.
Process & Logistics
What happens after I place my order?
After your purchase is confirmed, a “Fill in the form” link will appear on your order confirmation page. If you miss it, the same link will also be sent to your email.
Once we receive the required information, your ritual will be scheduled according to the timeframe stated on the relevant product page. After completion, the applicable ritual photograph or mandala image will be sent to you as confirmation.
For astrology reports, please allow up to 5 business days for delivery.
Can I participate in the ritual myself?
Yes. Every blessing ritual comes with a digital practice booklet tailored to the tradition being performed, so you can engage in a complementary home practice alongside the ritual we conduct on your behalf.
Common Concerns
Will this work even if I am not a Buddhist?
Yes. From the perspective of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism, receiving a blessing does not require you to be Buddhist. What matters more is the kindness, wholesome intentions, and positive actions you cultivate in daily life.
Through mantra and ritual practice, these positive causes are blessed and strengthened. Individual experiences may vary, and we do not guarantee a specific outcome.
Is this compatible with my existing religion or practice?
Receiving a blessing from The Way To Dharani does not require conversion to Buddhism or the abandonment of your existing faith.
However, every religious tradition has its own teachings and boundaries. If you are unsure whether receiving a Buddhist blessing is appropriate within your own faith, we encourage you to follow your conscience or consult someone you trust within your tradition.
Respect for personal belief is important to us.
What if I don't believe in this — will it still work?
You do not need blind faith or a particular religious identity to receive a blessing. Our practitioners perform each ritual with the same sincerity and care regardless of your personal beliefs.
At the same time, spiritual and religious practice should not be treated as a guarantee of a specific outcome. Each person’s circumstances and causes and conditions are different.
Refund & Exchange Policy
The Way To Dharani — Refund & Exchange Policy
Thank you for choosing The Way To Dharani. Our offerings fall into three categories, and each follows a different refund policy.
Online Rituals
A full refund is available if you cancel before the ritual begins.
For multi-day rituals, you may also request a refund after the ritual has begun. In this case, only the remaining, unperformed days will be refunded proportionally.
For example, if 5 days of a 7-day ritual have already been completed, the remaining 2 days will be refunded.
Once a ritual or portion of a ritual has already been performed, that completed portion is non-refundable.
Physical Products
If your item arrives damaged during shipping, we will provide a full replacement at no additional product cost.
Because our physical items are prepared through a personalized ritual and blessing process, refunds requested for reasons other than shipping damage are subject to a 30% non-refundable portion of the purchase price.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please contact us before returning any item.
Digital Astrology Reports
Each astrology report is personally prepared according to the information provided by the customer. Because these reports are customized digital products, they are non-refundable once purchased, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
